Terms of Service
Guidelines governing participation, distinctions, workshops, and membership with IVAF.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Indian Visual Arts Foundation website (ivaf.in) or applying for our programmes, courses, distinctions (AIVF, FIVF, MIVF, Hon.IVAF), and exhibitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Distinction Applications & Submissions
Applicants must be the sole authors and copyright owners of all photographs submitted for distinction evaluations. Submission of plagiarized, AI-generated imagery masquerading as authentic photography without explicit disclosure, or unauthorized works will result in immediate disqualification and revocation of any conferred distinction.
3. Jury Decisions & Evaluation
All distinctions and portfolio evaluations are conducted by an independent board of experienced visual artists and jury members. The decisions of the jury in conferring or withholding distinction awards are final.
4. Fees & Payments
Applicable examination fees, workshop charges, or event registration fees must be settled via authorized payment methods as specified. Fees cover administrative, jury, and curation costs and are non-refundable once an application undergoes formal review.
5. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
