1st IVAF National Salon 2019
is an initiative by Indian Visual Arts Foundation, organizing an national salon under the approved rules of FIP.
The approval number is 2019/FIP/57/2019. Acceptances obtained in this salon will be taken into account for the FIP Distinctions.
The competition is open to everyone from all over India; however, an entry may be rejected when IVAF, in its reasonable discretion,
believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions. There are no restrictions as to subject matter except as outlined
in the rules and definitions of specific sections, or specified by law in the country where the exhibition is held.
Entrants must be the authors of the works they submit. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own. The
Entrant certifies that he/she is the sole owner of all the rights and elements on the image he/she presents. The organizers assume no liability
for any misuse or violation of copyright.
All final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file, or on photographic or electronic print material, mounting excepted
subject to divisional restrictions.
Each image must have a unique title. Once an image has been accepted in a FIP recognized salon/exhibition, that same image, or a like
“in camera” or a “reproduction” duplicate of that image.
The entrant permits IVAF to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the
exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website.
Entries which do not comply in full or in part with the conditions of the exhibition will not be judged.
A photo entered in one section, cannot be entered in another section.
Organizers will handle each digital file and related things carefully but they are not responsible for any loss or damage.
Watermark or any such any identification marks (including camera generated date/time) are not acceptable.
An entrant's four images will be presented to the judges separately in different rounds through a SXGA+ digital projector having feature - (1280x800) pixels (max), Display Mode : Brightness : 300 lm (Max).
Decision of the jury member will be final and entrants are bound to accept the same.
