David Tait

Profile & Photographic Activity
Over 30 years with freelance and commissioned work for magazines and newspapers. ( With almost 50 publications. ) I have been entering international salons since 2014, with around 400 acceptances and many awards.

I am a member of Cheltenham Camera Club, also on the committee of Cheltenham International Salon of Photography for the last 2 years.

In 2014 I gained an LRPS distinction, but do not use this title. AFIAP was gained in 2015. EFIAP jn 2016, and I am now working towards my EFIAPb. During 2016 I have gained GPU1 and GPU2 distinctions.

Creative, nature, landscape and street photography are my favourite topics and I spent 6 years in China and 1.5 years in Spain photographing many aspects of both cultures.

Now retired, I have some disability, which prevents me from photographing as much as I would like to. However I have a large stock of images from previous years.
